Notorious copyright troll, Jonathan Monsarrat, has filed suit against Encylopedia Dramatica .se in a petty act of revenge against a .com era page.
We know ED as an important piece of internet history and culture. It’s a repository I’ve used on multiple occasions to learn, which may surprise you if you’re only familiar with it as a site full of insulting and funny articles.
It’s a SLAPP lawsuit. Meaning it’s total junk, the plaintiff doesn’t plan on winning, just draining money from the victim by forcing them to mount a legal defense. ED is obviously in the clear. But that’s what this guy does.
